Dell H. Robison Middle School

Dell H. Robison never kept a journal or wrote records of his life. He did make recordings through which his stories of early settlements of Southern Nevada were later transcribed. Dell H. Robison was a respected entrepreneur, trustee and loving family man. He believed in quality education and progressive ideas backed by solid principles. His legacy of excellence in education continues to prosper the young people of Clark County

Dell came from a humble home where he learned to work hard for what he wanted. His family was not strangers to pain nor loss. Medical and financial hurdles kept him geographically close to home.

There are stories of how Dell worked through his high school years by driving the school bus prior to going to BYU. He was a rancher, entrepreneur, sold tractors and served his community. His educational passion was advertising and marketing.

Many of the jobs that Dell took on were not for pay. When he served his church, the school boards for twenty-seven years, or the State Agricultural Commission for sixteen years, he did so for the good of the communities in which he served.

Fun Fact: Dell liked to dance with tall girls because he felt they were better dancers.
